UPDATE 11/29!!!

I sat down today and had a little heart-to-hair talk with my beard. The first game back from the thanksgiving hiatus is only a couple of days away and there IS the miniscule possibility that I just might be able to put that puck behind Hammer...thus ending my scoring drought...and a beautiful,itchy,furry relationship. "Beard," I said. "I don't mean to split hairs here (no pun intended),but you have to realize that it may soon be time that you and I went our seperate ways." This pic was snapped in our downtime...before beard started crying like a 5 year old.

BEARD UPDATE (11/26)!!!

Coming along nicely. You'll see two pictures here. The first is an upclose retinal assault demonstrating what Yelena is currently dealing with. The second featuring me looking something like a young Peter Forsberg. (Hockey beard...Peter Forsberg...Alexei Yashin's wife is named Yelena too...something tells me I'm on to something here!)

WATCH MY BEARD GROW!!!

Fellow A.O.D. teammate,Greg Dillinger,called out for some mustache unity for upcoming hockey games. I am completely down with this and to celebrate I am posting a pic here every day so you can watch my facial hair grow. Further,I tallied in our first game this session and have not done so since! I absolutely refuse to shave until I score again! I am also declaring december "mustache month" and encourage all my AOD teammates to begin growing their beards/mustaches and posting their results here as well.
